As soon as Mauve had gotten back from her jog, she went straight to the shower for a quick wash. She was easily distracted by the smallest things and Mauve wanted to make an impression of her fellow Gale, especially with the label ‘Newbie’ tagged on her.
She pulled her hair into a pony, sliding on a more comfortable outfit and making her way to the shooting range, her pistol crossbow slung over her shoulder. They’d probably toss me out on my ear.” She removed a different arrow, carefully checking it this time to make sure it was simply an ordinary one.
“Alright,” she said. “Was there anything in particular you wanted to practice? I obviously don’t know everything, but I was doing archery even before the League, so I can try and help, if you want that.”
Elisa shrugged her shoulders before lifting the crossbow up, her fingers tight around the base of it. She closed one...
