Indigo had been in a weird sort of headspace the past couple of days. Getting to know Snowy better had been…really good, actually, but her talk with Amber had also put a drain on her emotions, mostly to the point where she was just going through the motions. She had a routine she’d been following since she arrived at the League, which was mostly for after missions or really intense training, and she fell back on it today, because it was comfortable and familiar.
All things considered, though, she didn’t really mind breaking that routine to go to the shooting range with Mauve. Her fellow Gale also favored a crossbow, and that just pleased her to no end. She took her brand new pistol bow with her, packed up her bag, and headed down to the range. They usually had a few manual bows hanging on the walls for students to practice with, so if she wanted to switch it up, that wouldn’t be a problem.
She assembled the pistol bow, unscrewing the scope because it was really unlikely she’d need it in here. She’d save it for her next mission instead. She heard the door open, and she straightened up and gave a little wave. “Hey, Mauve,” she said.
